How long before we can swim after adding CYA?

Hi there and welcome to TFP 
How are you adding that CYA? We always suggest it be put in a sock or stocking leg and tied off. Then hang that over a return of water or place in the skimmer to dissolve. If done that way you can swim and squish the sock now and then...no wait needed
