How do you change filter on above ground Coleman pool, without losing all the water

Ugh, on my intex pool it was no problem, and there is no timer on pump.

I goggled it and found a couple utube that shows a turn off handle on top of filter and another one that shows some black caps to cover the openings while you change the filter.

If there are no shutoff valves or caps, buy some corks or whittle a carrot the right size and plug the openings in the pool.

If you have flexible hoses and they are long enough, just raise the pump higher than the water level and set it on a table or chair and open it up.
