I am new to above ground pool ownership. My skimmer hose came loose from my pool and water drained out to below the skimmer hose attached to the pool. I have an intex above ground pool 12 X 24 ultra XTR pool with the salt water system. Should I be concerned that my pump and filter system is damaged? Thanks

I would fill the pool up to the proper level and see if it works. As far as the salt water system, once you measure and add salt to the appropriate level needed I would check on it to see if it is making chlorine. Unfortunately accidents happen and we can only hope for the best! If for some reason the filter works but the salt doesn't I would just use liquid chlorine to keep the pool nice until you figure out if it's worth it to replace the system.
