With a CC of 2.0 you definitely have something consuming your FC. Test in morning and report back.
I’m up for it. Would require 3 more gallons of 12.5% to target 24 FC. As long as 7 gallons of 12.5% in a day isn’t a concern for a 22k vinyl poolI'd bring it up to slam again now why wait to the morning, obviously it's being consumed so why wait.
Well I looked at the time and thought the OP would not be up.I'd bring it up to slam again now why wait to the morning, obviously it's being consumed so why wait.
First rodeo, just being cautious. I’m off to add my 3 gallons now. Will re-test chlorine in the morning. Thanks everyone! It's not a concern if it's getting consumed. Isn't that what your trying to accomplish to rid and destroy whatever is causing this besides the CC is backing up your actions.
BTW I checked the bottles and all the dates are either 5/24 or 6/2I bought the chlorine a week ago and stored it in a dark storage room in the basement. 15 mins seems short but I’ll try it.
If you can, yes. Life is a thing and not everyone can add during the day but the more often you add the quicker the SLAM will go.Just tested at 5 FC and 1.5 CC at 8:45 and immediately added 3.3 gal more targeting 24. Should I be re-testing and re-adding every hour even during the day? Asking because I know the sun breaks it down. I’m at 15.3 gallons of 12% in 2 days so far.
Appreciated this. Here’s the latest:You have to keep the SLAM up - the M in SLAM is for “maintain”
