Hello, wondering what product and how much I should add for a pool with high alkalinity (> 180) but good pH (7.6). AGP, 28’, about 25K gallons. We have BioGuard products, so “Lo n’ Slo”? Thanks!

I would use nothing. If your pH is good, then your TA is fine. If I were to guess, I would say you are using trichlor tablets to chlorinate. I'm guessing this because they are highly acidic so it often takes a higher TA to maintain a steady pH than it would for a saltwater or liquid chlorine chlorinated pool.

Also, just for when pH does need adjusted, we highly recommend the use of muriatic acid versus sodium bisulfate. More effective, cheaper, and doesn't introduce sulfates in the water.
