Dang, that's a big pool. I'm surprised they only provide for two inlets, and that baby sand filter.
Not surprised, but under-impressed with the pump/filter.
I have only ever had Intex pools. So, I'm a bit of a fan. Of the pool. The pump, not so much. The cover, even less confident.
Technically you should drain below all outlets to your pool. Then put the cover they sent you over it. Then tarp it. Weigh down the tarp with your old bleach botttles, or tent stakes. Or both. With that length, make a lot of tents within the tarps over the Intex cover. These tents require floating tent poles, that might work. Think Cirque De Solei....
This pool is not one you want to re-fill next year, you have to protect the water. There's a lot of water in that pool.
