I have an Intex prism frame pool that has the light gray color top portion and white support tubes that insert through. Each location of a Tee joint for the legs has an exposed open area that water splashes out. I also believe that my saltwater is more likely to get inside of the poles through this splashing and lead to rusting more quickly. So I want to patch over those gaps for the inside portion of the pool and also cover the top portion of the pipes. I think 24" wide by 12" should cover each of the 20 areas. The pool stays up year round.
Only I cannot find what I want in the light gray intex color. I would prefer peel and stick as this is not load bearing or under water. Vinyl cement is ok if I have to.

here is an example: ebay "used" patch
But it is the color pattern of the bottom of the pool and not the gray that I am looking for.
here is a link to the actual pool I have: intex prism frame
I would even be ok with a roll of the stuff if you know of a source.

For the record, ALL pools become "Salt Water Pools" after a year or so. Each chemical leaves behind trace amounts of salt that actually can build up enough that people going from chlorine pucks to salt water chlorinators are surprised that they have almost half-to-three quarters the amount of salt the device they're adding requires.

Let me ask some previous and current AGP owners if this is really a problem down the line??
@kimkats @Casey @Newdude @woodyp

Another thought is if there is any particular paint one could paint the legs with to prevent degradation?

Casey and Kim are my Go-to's. Sorry I never had to patch and have only read some about them. Fingers crossed it can stay that way. @Mdragger88 can probably assist as well. :)

Mdragger88, Thanks for that link. I had only previously found the forum thread for intex owners. That has a picture of what I want to do:

I wish they had listed a supplier in that write up. The only vinyl I can find has a pressed in pattern to it and I want smooth. I am also holding out for a closer "light gray" to my pool's top.

Another reason I am doing this is because of thrips. Those pesky no-see-um bugs. They love white! I catch hundreds in my skimmer each night. They like to hang out on those joints. Between them and those smallish black sweat bees I have become more of a bug expert than a chemistry expert on this pool. haha.

Thanks all. I will keep looking and perhaps something will pop up here. Worse case, I buy 3 or 4 off of amazon until one matches.

Here are some options if other's are looking:
blue stick on 39x40" This would be perfect, but there is no gray, but rather clear and white.
gray 3"x79" roll. If this was wider I would go for it, but I don't want the seem to be seen.

leather repair tape 17"x53" This is the winner so far. For $10, it is worth a shot to experiment with. UV will probably kill it quickly though. Thoughts?
