Yes I can aim jets down and run polaris vac to stir things up. Thanks
Ok thanks I will tryI eventually, after the water cleared, just vacuumed it. You have to vacuum it very slowly, or you will stir it up. Go very slowly, try not to make a lot of disturbance in the water. Go slow. I did that twice and got it all up.
Thanks for explaining that to me. Yall are great!Every time you lower pH, TA will lower a little bit too. As long as your pH is in the 7s you shouldn't really have to worry about TA. Every pool is different, but as Dustin mentioned above, your pool's TA will probably settle somewhere between 50 and 70. You do not want your TA much below 50 as you run the risk of your pH crashing, but there is not much risk of that happening if you do as Dustin described and just wait for pH to rise to 8, then lower it to 7.6. As your TA drops you will not have to lower pH as often.
I'm still learning...and everyone has been so helpful. Thanks to all
