We are battling an algae problem, along with chlorine lock. I have been shocking and running pump 24/7 but can't keep chlorine in pool. My soon to be EX son-in-law keeps saying that running the pump 24/7 is depleting the chlorine. I say its the algae. Anyway, the pool is now being vacuumed. I will admit to being confused about all the chlorine advice, the difference in chlorine and non chlorine shock, the BBB method, slamming etc..
Enough rambling. I will continue to read and hopefully understand at some point. We have the 18 x 48 intext prism. I am hoping to but a permanent had side pool next year with a SWG
