Been a lurker for a few months, wonderful wealth of knowledge found here.
Recently purchased a house with a pool (first time as owner)
Grew up with a pool, never once was it green, cloudy or unswimmable (wow, dad)
Had a helping of humble pie as I had an algae bloom earlier this summer - this site helped me go thru the slam/shock - iceberg-blue, clear water atm.
Kids are enjoying the heck out of the pool.
