Hi, I’ve turned to this site full of wonderful people and a wealth of knowledgeable information, before so figured I’d join and contribute where I can and get some help too.
I used to build Gunite(Shot-Crete) pools for about 7 years.. mainly focused on the construction. Being a sculptor and artist I enjoyed process of creating a work of art out of an empty hole in form of concrete pool in just few hours. I freelanced for many co. In 5 states mainly extremely customized steps, spas, grottos, etc. There are So many possibilities with concrete that even though Really hard physical work I enjoyed creating what I viewed as a large working sculpture. Also being seasonal allowed me to backpack around the World in off-season. But many years ago ironically I broke my Neck diving into pool, leaving me partially paralyzed. Buy hey It’s life you suck it up and get on with it. And try to help others along the way.. So thats a little of who I am, So Hello All!
