Hey Folks,
New pool owner here so still figuring stuff out.
I am trying to heat my spa unit which is attached to the pool but the heater won’t stay on for more than 30 seconds and the temperature being displayed on my wall panel is definitely wrong since it shows 97 when the spa water temp is Luke warm. I initially had an issue with valves being in wrong position which someone helped me correct but the heater did heat the spa to where it was steaming. Now with the correct valve positions I wonder if I have a valve in wrong position that’s preventing flow to the heater? Pictures below any help is appreciated as I am kind of lost here.

Just a thought, and also dragging this up where maybe someone else will see it...

My heater has two settings, spa and pool. The valves are manual. With it set to spa in spa out, it still only works on pool mode. If I try to set spa temp on the heater, it cuts out. My heater is totally different looking, but it's something to consider. I mean... the heater doesn't know where the water is coming from or where it's going. If it's happy thinking it's the pool set to 100, it's okay by me.
