Hayward OmniHub and Pentair SuperFLO VST

I installed a Hayward OmniHub for my inground pool. Everything except comunications to the pump seems to be working well. I have the HLPMPCONV installed and the controller sees it, but it doesn't seem to generate a HUA for the pump. I have done everything that I've seen on here (Hayward technical document). Still no luck. Tried a different HLPMPCONV board and new control cable to the pump. Any suggestions would be a big help. Thanks,

Yeahp. Firmware update everything. Make sure the dip switches on the pump are set correctly. Make sure the breaker to the pump is off for 10 minutes before changing dip switch settings.

That was an older picture, sorry. I updated to 5.0.4. My pump doesn't have any dip switches that I know of. It's a 9 month old SuperFLO VST. I have it assigned as address 1 right now.

Hayward says it supports IntelliFlo pumps.

Chris, do you know if it works with a Pentair Superflo VST pump?

Here is a pic of the PCB. The pump connection is just the 8 pin connector. It has the 4 wire connection to the main board, and that seems to work as it shows the daughter board. But it should create a HUA for the pump. Something like 10.0.0.1. Thanks,

What Pentair part number is the cable to the Superflo VST?

I think you have the yellow and green wires reversed from the pump connection on the converter board. Try changing them.

The cable is 356324Z. I tried changing the wires. No luck. The install manual shows them the way I have them. I'm thinking it might be something in the pump??

Different Pentair pumps have slightly different RS-485 command sets. It is not clear the Hayward board works with pumps other than the IntelliFlo.

I did finally hear back from from Hayward. The system is supposed to talk to the SuperFLO VST. Here are all the pumps it is supposed to communicate with;
Intelliflo VSF 011056
Intelliflo i1 011059
Intelliflo i2 011060
Intelliflo VSF 022056
Intellipro VSF 013004
Whisperflo VST 011533
Superflo VST 342002
SuperMax VS 343001
Intelliflo 3
Sta-Rite

Thanks for getting this list.

Did something get cutoff in your paste after Sta-Rite?

Do they have any advice on how to get your pump working?
