Good evening,

My Hayward Ecostar SP3400VSP has had some issues with leaking. I tried to replace a few seals that I saw were common problems online. I also replaced the diffuser as it was cracked. However, once I had it all replaced and started running the pump again, it started squirting water out of the Housing Pump on the part that water leaves the pump (seen in the pictures below). My question is, does anyone have any suggestions for a temporary fix so that I can run the pump until I am able to get this issue properly addressed?

If any other information is needed I'll gladly update.

Thanks!
John

The only fix for that is a replacement. Don't run the fitting all the way in. Five or six tight wraps of Teflon tape, a little silicone selant on the threads then leave about 3 threads showing. Better yet, get a good set of hi-temp pump unions.
