My lcd screen is blank. We tested the power with a meter and there is power. Is there a way to rest the screen?

First thing to do is turn power off at the breaker for at least 5 minutes, there must be no power at the pump for that long. Drive may reset.

I would suggest 30 min minimum. This is how long it takes for the static electricity to dissipate.

Direct from Hayward:
Shut off breaker, supplying EcoStar with power, for at least 2 minutes. Restore power and run in quick clean; if error reappears, replace drive.

thx pooman, appreciate your response.

However, Haywards response is a reactive one to a problematic controller at best. I did the 2 mins and no cigar. I did 30 mins and it worked.

My manual for my gas dryer if LED Pad is stuck, turn off and unplug for 30 secs.. did it 4-5 times, no cigar. Called a tech to place service call and he said to unplug for 30 mins to fully dissipate all static electricity. I did that that, plugged in gas drier and LED screen was fully operable again. That’s when I started doing 30 mins for all devices, even an icemaker that needed to be reset.

If 2 min’s always works for you, then stick w it. It did not for me…
