I've had the hayward filter for a few years. This year however I'm having issues. Pool has been vacuumed, not alot of debris (just some cottonwood) Water parameters are good. For some reason it will only pump for a few hours then plug up. I've tried soaking the fingers in filter cleaner, I take it apart and hose it out, and put it together. Then it's pumping great, a few hours later, not much pumping. I can't even get my heater to work because the pressure isn't there. Am I missing something stupid? I can't seem to solve this issue.

You most likely have algae. How do you test your pool water chemistry? Can you post a full set of test results?
