Hey Guys,

Two years ago I installed my inground pool with a Colorlogic 4.0 LED light. I run a AuquaPlus system with version 4.47 software installed. I added a AQL-COLOR-MODHV module to connect to my lights. After installing the the AQL-COLOR-MODHV the prologic should have automatically detected it and the ColorLogic Config menu should have been added to my configuration menu to allow to to find and program the lights, the menu does come up. I have double checked all wiring, and even purchase a second module to test that also would not connect either. I have called hayward but they never get back to you after multiple cases and there is no hayward specialist in my area that I could pay to come over. If anyone has an ideas I am willing to try anything to get this light working. Thanks in advance,

Shain

Hi Shain,

I think you and I are the only ones on the planet that own this. I hired my pool guys to install this and they had nothing but trouble. Come to find out, in my case they had ordered the wrong light. I think you have the correct light though if it is a Gen4 120V light. My system is the 12V model which requires a transformer and has a "CUN" part number in our case it was LPCUN11050. I think the Gen4 lights have a CUS in the part number. In the manual it states that if you are using a 12V transformer to power your light you need the coupler to pass off the network commands on each transformer which is part LKBUN1000. My pool guy did not do this and it still worked. After we got the correct light it worked great we liked it so much we had them order a spa light as well and they are all networked into the light show. If you have it wired correctly, the "light" button on your pro-logic will give you white light. The Color Logic configuration is built into the AUX1 button, once you press that you should be able to start programming your light show. You can even program them into other AUX buttons if you want to have more than one light show at your fingertips. Hope this gives you some insight and good luck, wish there was more documentation on this -Steve
