Hi all,
We recently bought a house with an inground pool. We had the pool store open the pool, but would like to maintain it ourselves. I do not have a Taylor Test kit yet- but it's coming! So this was with a test strip
Approximate readings:
FC: 0
Alk:80
Ph: 7.2
TH: Like 800
No matter how much chlorine I throw in it, the reading has been staying pretty zero.
We've been putting sodium dichloro-s-triazinetrione in it- what the old owners left
The pool is crystal clear but there does appear to be scaling forming on the side of the vinyl right where the waterline is. The algae that was there a week and a half ago when we opened it is very dead.
Looking for some advice! Ty
