Has anyone used Hydrotools pressure gauges?

Hi,

Just wondering because I need to replace the gauge on my Apollo VA-52 filter (takes a standard 1/4 inch bottom mount) The Hydrotools is cheap enough but just wondering if they hold up well. I would imagine any brand that has the 1/4 bottom configuration would work on my filter (?)

And these work good? Never heard of glycerin-filled before. What is the advantage? And this would definitely fit my old Apollo filter? I imagine that the fitting is pretty standard.

I got one 2 years ago. Works great.

Advantage of Glycerin is smooth steady movements.
Also won't get damaged in deep freezing temps...i think.

I have the one from TFTestKits too and it's been working great. Only problem I noticed is that the face started getting damaged by the sun. Didn't like direct sunlight so now I keep a plastic cup over it between readings.
