Green Pool- just opened

Filled our 16x32 semi in ground pool with well water and local fire department.

So far have treated with 1.5 gallon of liquid chlorine and 0.5 gallon of muratic acid.

No change after 12 hours with pump on.
I’m wondering if we also put our chlorine tablets in as well? We haven’t added any CYA, but the tablets have some in them. The test strip this morning didn’t register any FC and pH was still high around 8.

How long does it normally take to clear?

New here, any advice would be great. I’ve been pouring over pool school and TFP webpage.

The first thing you need is a recommended test kit. To clear the pool properly you need one. Link-->Test Kits Compared

Add 5ppm of liquid chlorine per day until you kit arrives. Download pool math, configure your pool and use it to determine how much chlorine to add (hint about 3/4 gallon).
