Keep the dummy cell on until you’re done with the SLAM. Use liquid chlorine for the SLAM.

Thanks for your time and response.

I had went to leslies pool again just for water test and please see attached results.

I am planning to use liquid clorine. Could you please suggest best liquid chlorine product. I found walmart one with 10% for 5$.
Do you recommend any brand?

You need to follow the SLAM Process. To do that, you need a proper test kit. I suggest the TF-100 or Taylor K2006C. A proper test kit is needed to get the accurate water chemistry results needed to follow the TFP protocols.

While you are waiting on your test kit, add 5 ppm FC worth of liquid chlorine / plain bleach to your pool each evening with the pump running. This will replenish the FC lost each day to the sun and also inhibit any algae in the water from growing further. The Pool Essentials liquid chlorine from Walmart is fine to use.

You can't SLAM without a test kit. Here are the recommended test kits...Link-->Test Kits Compared

10% for 5$ is about the best deal out there these days.

You can follow this link, enter your zip and may be able to find another source. Also check HD and Lowe's

In our area, Walmart and Pinch A Penny are usually the best places for fresh liquid chlorine. As the others have said, you will need a good test kit to get rid of the algae.
