Hi everyone!
I just set up an Intex 15' diameter, 4' tall pool and filled it with water. We added 100lbs of salt as per the pump's instruction manual (Intex Krystal Clear 1500 GPH Sand Filter Pump & Saltwater System) and have gotten it to dissolve. I have a couple of questions:
1) Should I add chlorine to get the levels up to help the SWG?
2) When should I add the CYA?
3) When opening a new pool for the first time, should I SLAM the pool?
3b) If I SLAM a pool, when is the chlorine level safe to swim in?
The pool manual had no direction on when to add the CYA, and I don't know if I should be adding it until after I get the chlorine levels situated?
