Flow sensor in T15 cell

How many years should this sensor last? When it breaks, how easy is it to replace?

The flow sensor is not in the cell. It's a separate unit that screws into a T and plugs into the control box. Very easy to replace. You just need to be sure a little arrow on the sensor is lined up with the direction of the flow and plug it in. A new one costs about $35 and I've replaced mine twice in 12 years.
