Hey- I have 30,000 gallon pool on the space coast in fl. We are on the river and it’s very windy and our pool is getting cool. What is the optimum temp to keep the pool at with out breaking the bank? I have seen around 78-80.

I have a large natural gas heater- am I crazy for wanting to heat the pool? I assume the upfront cost of it heating the pool will be significant but then it shouldn’t be insane to keep it heated?

I do have a hot tub that spills over and I think I read somewhere that if I just heat that over time it will heat the pool but won’t use as much gas? I can vaguely think that could work but don’t see it as a good option.

Thx
