Changed the bottom sock this morning.
Just went to check and this is the top pick. 8 hours per sock is going to kill me. Thought pollen was done. Then wind storm dragged the neighborhoods lawn clippings and tree debris into the pool along with more pollen

Definitely pollen season - either clean the sock or clean the filter.
(I'm a clean the filter guy as once or twice daily skimmer management is a bridge too far.)

I usually clean my DE filter in early March, then mid-April, then again in September to deal with it all.

Woohoo I made this before and it's relevant twice in one day.




You didn't go honking large but should get most the spring if not all of it. Just clean the filter once the crud is done instead of swapping out daily hair nets. (IMO)
