Firepit With Sheer Descent Waterfall

I am currently in the process of our build, and am planning on putting a firepit (dedicated gas line) at the end of our pool, with a sheer descent waterfall.

With the heat generated from the firepit, will I need to worry about the plumbing melting?

I thought about plumbing it with copper, but am worried about corrosion and leaks.

Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks in advance!

They make fire bowls and are also water features. SO pretty!! I will have to look to see if I can find the build that has them. There is no real worry about the plumbing so long as it is done correctly. Here is what I found doing a basic search:

Someone had mentioned to me heat would generate from the base of the metal fire pit insert, and damage the internal plumbing.

It originally wasn’t a concern of mine but I wasn’t sure if it should be. I’d imagine it might get warm, so I wasn’t sure if I needed to install some type of heat shield or something.
