Finally, today I hit the On button on my CircuPool CORE Series 55 at 11:00 am.

Is this new to your pool? You’ve got the proper amount of salt in the water, CYA between 70-90, and you boosted FC with liquid chlorine to the proper level for your CYA?

It will produce chlorine immediately, but you will have to experiment to see how long you need to run it and at what percentage, to keep your pool where you want it.
 
After your last salt add, you should wait at least 24 hours for the salt to fully mix into the pool water before turning the SWG on. Turn off your salt cell and turn on the pool pump for about 24 hours to evenly distribute the salt. Test the salt content again to verify it's at the correct level. If the salt is at the correct level, try starting up the SWG again after that.
