Filter Union Ring

I have a Jandy CL460 filter. I need the threaded union ring (not sure if that is the correct term) that you tighten to connect the outlet to the pump. My ring has a slight crack and is leaking.

Does anyone know if the drain cap ring is the same?

Online it looks like the drain cap can get here faster and is cheaper. That’s why I’m asking. Thank you!

Unless I'm badly mistaken the Inlet/outlet and drain union nuts are identical size. If you don't need the nipple, then the drain nut should work fine.
