Filter pump is not completely filled with water

Have had system for about 2 years and recently noticed the spillover from spa to pool was not looking right, very weak flow.
Checked the filter pump and it not completely filled with water and see air.
Things done thus far ..
1. Tried priming the pump again for filling water
2. Check the o-ring and applied lube
3. Cleaned all filter baskets
Have attached a pic of the system.

Any ideas ?

Make sure your water level is high enough and not allowing air into the system at the skimmers. Play around with the suction / intake valves and see if the air bubbles increase or decrease. This may help you isolate the problem area.

Thanks. Water level is fine, checked that too. When you say suction/intake valves what would they be labelled as ?

When was the filter last cleaned? That should always be the first place to look.

Last summer. Getting it cleaned again today, let's see if it helps.

Did that, could not really find anything of note.

It was the filter ... for it cleaned and everything is back to normal. Thanks for the help !
