Fc testing

Until I can get another test kit, where would I want my numbers on oto test for chlorine for close to fc of 5 -6?

Target will be 40 I gotta grab a cheap test kit local until I can get the other in mail. It’s very humid here and I don’t want it to start getting nasty already

If this is a new fill, just determine how much CYA you have added and then maintain your FC at 10% of that value. Add 3 ppm FC each day and you should stay above the minimum FC.

It’s been a couple years since I’ve done this. I’ll check out the calculator. So if my cya is 40 I want my fc 4 and add 3 a day to keep up with the loss everyday. Am I understanding that correctly?

That will work until you get a proper test kit. Then follow the FC/CYA Levels
