What would you expect the FC loss per day would be with cya at 40-45, using approximately 1 and 1/2 gallons of 10 % chlorine

Plug in your pool gallons the add 1.5 gallons in ozs into the effects of adding chemicals. The result is it will add 7.7 ppm FC.

Pool is balanced and looks good, using just short of a gallon of 10% chlorine a day, is there a difference in adding the short gallon say at 2 PM rather adding 22 oz 5 times a day, going to be gone most of tomorrow with know one to add when needed

You can add your chlorine just once each day. That is what is normally done. Just be sure the FC stays above minimum.

Take a FC reading very early in morning. Don’t add any FC all day. At end of day take another FC. Now u know your FC demand for day. Go to pool math and figure out how much LC u need to add per day. Right now the way that question is phrased is rough to answer.
