I added 12oz of 31.45% of Muriatic acid. This is after letting my TA drift down to 70 and my PH has stayed at 7.6 ever since and I have a SWG. I’ll see how long I have to go before I have to add anymore. Coincidentally, this is the one thing that Trouble free pool teaches about water chemistry that I knew they were right about after years of keeping aquariums. I have kept a wide range of aquariums from reef tanks to brackish tanks to Discus fish. All of these require a wide range of PH and alkalinity levels. I would have killed a lot of Discus fish that are happy with a PH of 6 and can’t survive a PH greater then 7 if I insisted on keeping their alkalinity at 120. Knowing that TFP was correct about PH and TA is what originally got my attention, and convinced me to try it.
