My pool is 20x40 I will measure depth this weekend. I have been Taking care of my pool since I purchased this house 3 years ago. I want to move away from 3” chlorine Pucks to stop the CYA from building up causing me to regularly dumping water and refilling.

From what I’ve read that means purchasing and installing a salt water generator. I know the gallonage of the pool dictates the size of the generator. I’d like to over size it so I won’t have to add much if any liquid chlorine.

1. Can someone who I happy with theirs please tell me what brown they have ?

2. Separate from the swg can I monitor and adjust chlorine levels on the swg by my phone ? That would be helpful as I am not Living full time at the house.

Also what else (besides salt) do I need to get to convert a chlorine pool to a salt water pool.

What is your pump runtime now?

You either get a 40K cell of which many vendors sell them or a 60K cell which only Pentair or Circupool have.

There is no way to monitor chlorine level remotely so being able to adjust SWG output remote is not much help.

Look at the Circupool RJ60+ or the Pentair IntelliChlor IC60.

My pump is a 1 HP and runs from 8AM to 6PM, 9PM-9:30PM, 2 AM-2:30AM everyday unless I interfere with the timer.

I will check out those part numbers- Thanks

With a 40K SWG you will need to run your pump around 18 hours per day at 80% for 3ppm of FC.

With a 60K SWG you will need to run your pump around 13 hours per day at 80% for 3ppm of FC.

I guess I need to back up.

Can someone tell me what the parts i need are called?

A SWG typically consists of a Power Center and a cell.

What is the intelecenter?

The IntelliCenter is Pentairs latest pool automation system. You do not need the IntelliCenter to use a Pentair SWG.

I have this one (other here do also) and no problems with it
I do see they are out of stock again but you could call and see if they expect them back in stock

That link does not take me to a model. And you let me know what model number and manufacturer number
