EasyTouch Nightime Cooling

xyz,

Kind of takes the "automatic" out of your automation... :p

Sounds to me like you are just forcing water through the solar panels, whether the sensor is calling for "cool" or not. ???

Right. I could not get the ET to work correctly. When I engage nighttime cooling, it would start heating even when the set point is lower than current temp. Turn off nighttime cooling, and solar works correctly.

The only think i ink I didn't try is telling it I had a heat pump. Maybe that is the trick? Till then, I can cool on the nights I want it.

Would be be nicer to be temp controlled though, like we were talking about.

Now it is working correctly [but sensor says the panels are hot enough for heating now].

And the Max temp won't remain programmed.

Every time I check it, it reverts to 0 degrees.

I set it to 75, it seems to take, I can exit out of all the menus, go back, check it, and it is back to 0 degrees.

I find this behavior when I try to calibrate the temp sensors. I have to try sometimes may times, and power cycling the entire system *seems* to more than not make a setting take.

Any ideas?
I believe you have to make the changes while in service mode then they will stick.
