I have a Pentair Mini Max pool heater for my pool and spa with an EZ temp control panel . I switch from com pool 3800 a few years ago . This year I opened the pool and the spa control is not working right I have to turn the heater on in either spa or pool for it to fire up but when I shut the spa from the pool side switch the heater keeps running even with the valves returning to normal pool mode . What am I missing it all worked fine lasy year .

There should be a 2-wire cable running between the heater & the control panel. Yours probably got loose or broken.
What are the temp settings in the Easytouch menu. Usually you set the heater thermostat to it's highest setting then let the controller control the temperature
