Monday is labor day. I'm sorry you have to work. :(

Then do every 2 hours when you are home, even late into the night is fine...all the way to bed time. We do what we can.

It is not typical that automation switches between filter and recirc. Is there a reason you want to do this?
Hopefully I won’t have to work all day but yeah, gotta earn the income to maintain this pool! 😜 $75 for 8 gallons of liquid chlorine every 3 days is rough!

So when I’m running my pump overnight after I just did another test, brushed, replaced chlorine (only was able to get my hands on 7% liquid chlorine today, I’ll have more 10% tomorrow), I have my pump running with the levers in this position. Should I have both turned to the right, or does it matter? The right lever ran my corded Polaris vaccuum but I’ve disconnected it so does it have any other function than running the vaccuum? I did notice that my tank pressure went up a lot more when I have the right lever turned on. I just want to make sure I’m being most effective when I leave the pump running overnight to distribute this chlorine effectively. I’m waking up super early in the morning to clean the filter again and then to work and then be back in the afternoon. Thank you!!

Well I finally reached a free chlorine of 7 but the dropping temps here and rain definitely helped! I’m almost there! I admit this is usually where I stopped in the past but I want to make sure the algae doesn’t come rushing back as soon as it gets hot and sunny again.

Add enough liquid chlorine to attain an FC of 12 (SLAM Process FC level for your CYA of 30).
With pump running, test FC 15-30 minutes after the add to see if you actually get to FC 12.
Report back here with your findings.

How many times daily are you able to test and dose FC?

Folllow the SLAM Process to the letter. No short cuts.
There are three criteria that must be met to successfully complete the SLAM Process.
