Drained Due to CH Pushing 1000ppm..

Looks like the soft water bumps the TA to 130ppm. Something to keep an eye on for sure but it's not much higher than tap water and comes with no CH.

Was running the pump at full speed today because I finally got new wheels and a new leaf trap for the Poolvergnugen (I love saying that.. reminds me of the old fargengruven VW commercial) and I wanted it to do it's thing for a bit.

pH is on the rise but TA is holding stable and for the time being I am okay with the CH since the CSI is in check. I will add acid tomorrow or Monday because this is pretty well balanced I think.

Thoughts?

You can reduce scaling tendencies by maintaining CSI between 0.0 and -0.30. In your case, maintaining a lower pH will be the best way to keep CSI in range. Warmer temps will result in higher CSI. Evaporation and the addition of high TA fillwater will help keep you busy.

Good job getting things in-check. The pool looks beautiful.
