Drained Due to CH Pushing 1000ppm..

I found a while ago that the aeration wasn't really necessary because a daily run of the SWG over the waterfall and spa spill would push pH up naturally but for startup I'll do it.
TA of 120 isn't really all that bad. My post was intended for those that have TA north of 150. My guess is that if you just manage pH as you indicated, and run the waterfall, you will be just fine...

My worker that does a lot of things for me has been polishing the pool for two days now and one more day is needed to finish up.

Pretty sure an acid wash would be quicker but I don't think the surface would be as smooth as it is doing it like this. This is probably why pool companies would rather just acid wash it.

There are some swirl marks from the tool but I'm pretty sure they'll be invisible when the pool is filled with water again.

I think we'll need a bit of acid in some of the tight corners because they are bluer than the rest of the pool.. but not a lot of acid.

Pictures in a bit.

Why the shocked look @PoolStored ?
Well I had one too based upon the scope of the work accomplished in a very short time. I'd be waiting for callbacks for at least another 2 weeks. *Then* I'd have to wait my turn after deciding who to use. :laughblue:

(Though you did say you had a regular guy).

Also, absolutely LOVE the supervisors doing their thing. Maybe you could get them mini clipboards.

This young man is prompt and works hard. He polished it for a solid two days at a solid 8 hours a day and will be back this morning to finish up.

Normally we give people options and they need a week to mull them over, another week to gather the supplies and then a week or two to have the time.

You came back a couple days later with the 'guy having spent two days on it' already. I can't speak for Poolstored, but that WOW'd the snot out of me. :ROFLMAO:

(I'm 99.9% sure thats the reason though)

During the owner build of the pool they installed all the drains and hauled in about 30 tons of road base for trench fill and sub base under the concrete, one wheelbarrow at a time.

They also landscaped my whole front yard after hauling all that gravel from the front to the back. There was another 30 tons of DG to spread after laying the irrigation system and planting the plants and trees. They also installed the LV Landscaping lights.

They also painted the whole house and have done lotsbof other things for me. BTW, I order the supplies but they do the work to get 'er done.

I am eternally grateful I found them at Home Depot a few years ago. They've been irreplaceable for me and instrumental in creating our home according to my vision.
