I am having the same problems as above. I used my multimeter and the cord would not register on one side. I assumed it was the cable. I ordered a new cable and the nautical ran fine three times and now it will not work at all. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated!

After you installed the new cable did you get continuity on all conductors? And did you get an entire cable that included the swivel?
Try the continuity test again and push/pull on the cable going into the swivel to rule that out... or take it apart and measure to the internal connection points (there are spring loaded "pins" on one side that contact with round, gold plated traces on the other side)
