Do you leave your cleaner in the water? Do you cover it when out of the water?

What are your thoughts on this? I’ve been removing my Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus, but leaving it uncovered on the pool deck.

I have three pools and three robots..

Two of my robots are at rent houses and they stay in the pool 24/7 unless they come out to be cleaned, or the tenants take it out to swim. Then they put it back in.

Most of the time, the one at my house only gets put into the pool about every 2 or 3 days. When out the pool, it sits, uncovered, on the deck, and under the eve of the roof.

I've been using robots for about 10 years and I have not found any real difference between leaving them in the pool or taking them out.

I don't take the one at my house out to somehow make it last longer... I just don't like to see junk of any kind in my pool.

Thanks for your feedback, Jim. I, too, prefer the “view” of having it out of the pool.
