Do i need to plug the outflow port at closing for winter?

Or is unscrewing and removing the concentrator and directing nozzle enough? Sorry likely not using the right terminology

I mean one of these.

I unscrewed and removed it for the winter. Is that all I have to do in regard to this? Or do I need to plug the resulting hole with something as well?

Yes but I mean in terms of just that return does it need to be plugged or just left open with the directing nozzle unscrewed and removed?

After blowing the line and adding antifreeze it should be plugged.
