Do I need a Salt water test kit?

18ft intex Swg pool. My test strips and test kit are old.. Need to know the best test kits. Also should I test the salt levels or just let the generator tell me if it's low?

Hi Patty.. Its been a long time since your last post? If you joined in 2017.. I hope you are not using test strips... Yikes! If you have an SWG you need a salt test kits just like all the other tests. Here's a comparison:
