Do I have magical powers?????

My pool pump is not turning on when the programming says it should. As you can see from the picture the pool electrical says it’s on but the pump does not kick on until I walk down there and physically touch the connection with my “magical powers”.

Any idea of how to get this working normally again, without attending Hogwarts to learn to control my “magic”.

The relay is bad...

If you look at the pin on the right, all the wiring is charred and black. Most likely because the heat generated inside the relay from dirty contacts.

Just replace the relay and you should be good to go.

Edit.. I'd trim the ends of the burned wires, if you can..
