Difference Between Taylor K1005 and K2006

As long as your FC is never above 10 ppm and you never have to follow the SLAM Process, you can get away with it. But I suggest you get a FAS-DPD test for your FC/CC testing. The color matching you are now doing is not very accurate.
 
Thank you! I did get the FAS-DPD test and have compared it to the test strip test for FC and when the water is warmer the test strips over report the amount of FC. It has taken three years for me to understand everything. It sucks when you first get started. I had no idea how to balance the chemistry and if you follow the company recommendations for most of the strip tests you get in the big box stores they just try to sell you more chemicals and by the end of summer you have a mess of chemical soup!
 
Edit: I'm a dummy. Deleting my incorrect belief that the K-1005 lacked the CYA test.
