Is there any point in using a degreaser when opening the pool, to help with gunk removal from the vinyl?

Oh its pretty light, usual dirt accumulated from the winter, I'm not seeing any alguea yet. Almost every pool store or hardware store has a pool degreaser of some kind and they are often included in pool opening kits.
I'll stick to liquid chlorine only!

A gentle Magic Eraser might also work. Test it in a spot and check it does not remove any printing from the liner.
