Old pool is almost finished being deconstructed and excavation to begin next week. The dilemma is with the deconstruction of the old, a lot of soil has been disturbed and since the old pool had a deep end, the hole is now even deeper.
The new inground Gunite pool will be rotated 90 degrees at a depth of 4 1/2' and the infinity edge will be facing the river. As we all know, the new pool must be installed on undisturbed soil. Any ideas of how to bring the bottom up to the appropriate level before installing the rebar? The only solution I have come up with is to build forms around the edges and use #57 to bring up the level. That will require approximately 120 tons +/-.
