Deck jet question

I just had my pavers installed and had the deck jet hooked up. Every time i use the. I notice a drop in my water level. Is that normal? Or did they make a bad connection? I don’t notice any excessive moisture around the jets or the ground around the jets? Any suggestions?

How much does the water level drop? You are saying you need to add water whenever you use the deck jet?

1/2 inch to 3/4 or a inch . Based on the water line? Had it on for about 3 hours only. Seams excessive. Even for splashing water. I wonder are they connections of the flex hose are supposed to be glued or just stuffed into the hub. Because I don’t remember them using pvc cement

All PVC joints should be glued or threaded together, even with flex PVC.

If you lost that amount of water in 3 hours with your sized pool, that is a very large leak. Don't use that deck jet until it is looked at.

I have never noticed a drop in water level when mine. Even with I'm the water the kids splash out playing in them. Sounds like you have problem. Good luck!

First they screwed up the pool ladder now the deck jets. I just chose the wrong paver company. Thanks for all the info.
