I used tablets all summer last year and I swear I tested cya pretty high at the end of the season and I was planning on partially draining. Upon opening today, I'm measuring <30ppm. How?? Am I measuring wrong?
Yeah, you’re probably measuring rain/snow-melt water that’s sitting on top of the pool water. Also possible that bacteria consumed it and produced ammonia but that would be pretty easy to figure out because you won’t be able to get any chlorine to hold until the ammonia is all oxidized.
