I am interested in learning more about becoming a Certified Pool Operator and have some questions.

• Who offers the best training.... either classroom or online?
• I found one company through an online search, Pool Operation Management. Is this a reputable company? Do they offer the best training? What other companies/programs should I consider for training/ certification?
• How long does it usually take to become certified?
• Does Illinois require certification in order to operate a public pool?
• Is the test difficult to pass?
• What is a CPO usually paid for maintaining a pool?

I am interested also, would love to quit this cube job and work from the beach. And reading post on nextdoor they are way way short of poll guys/gals in that area.
