Copper Sulfate Crystals

If your CYA is truly 140 (you won't really know until you test yourself with the TF-Pro you are ordering), you need to lower the CYA by drain/refill or a no drain water exchange.

The only chemicals you need are liquid chlorine and muriatic acid.
Return everything else.

While waiting for your TF-Pro to arrive, add 3-5 ppm of liquid chlorine daily.
Use PoolMath Effects of Adding to determine the dose to increase FC.

I just downloaded Pool Math app and WOW IT'S SO COOL!!!! This will help me tremendously by knowing what to add!
Yes can't wait to get that test kit. I already have 1 Gallon of Muriadic Acid... my pH was 7.7 yesterday afternoon. Will get at least pool tests at the pool store until I get my kit. Oh and my phosphates were 184 yesterday at noon so I added some Super Phosphate Remover last night.
What's a No Drain Water Exchange?

Super Phosphate Remover last night.
I would suspend the addition of pool store potions. Phosphates are not an issue. Here is what to add and what not to add.

Do NOT add anything except liquid chlorine and muriatic acid.
Only add acid if pH get to 8.0 - and then only to lower pH to about 7.6

Search is your friend.

Which one? Which one would you pick? Not for pool contractors just for a homeowner
